PHILJA Publishes Judicial Journal
Two PHILJA judicial journals were published during the second quarter of 2012 – the Asian Justices Forum on the Environment: Sharing Experiences to Strengthen Environmental Adjudication in Asia (PJJ July-December 2007, Volume 9, Issue No. 28) and the Chief Justice Reynato S. Puno Distinguished Lectures, Series of 2007 (PJJ January-June 2008, Volume 10, Issue No. 29).
The Journal on the Asian Justices Forum on the Environment features speeches and lectures delivered at the forum held on July 5-6, 2007, in Manila. It provides information on strategies and best practices for strengthening the human and institutional capacity of courts in environmental adjudication in the Asia-Pacific region.
The Chief Justice Reynato S. Puno Distinguished Lectures Journal is a compilation of the speeches and the lectures delivered on the topics Comparative Study of Philippine and German Laws on Succession, Interpreting Islamic Shari’a in Modern Age–The Contribution of the Supreme Constitutional Court of Egypt, and The Writ of Amparo–An International Perspective.
The PHILJA Judicial Journal is published twice a year by PHILJA-RPLO and distributed to members of the judiciary, particularly judges, as well as to law students and practitioners.
