Facilitator’s Writeshop on Strengthening Judicial Integrity and Rule of Law Program for Single Sala Courts
On July 5, 2012, the PHILJA conducted a Facilitator’s Writeshop on Strengthening Judicial Integrity and Rule of Law Program for Single Sala Courts in partnership with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the American Bar Association–Rule of Law Initiative (ABA-ROLI). The activity aims to assure that the curriculum for the next seminar-workshop will conform with the needs of the target single sala court judges.
The writeshop activities included a review of the training curriculum used during the seminar-workshop on Strengthening Judicial Integrity and Rule of Law for Single Sala Court Judges of Regions 6, 7 and 8; a presentation of processes in filing and resolving administrative complaints against judges and lower court personnel; familiarization on the flow of the seminar-workshop and on the assignment of facilitators’ respective roles; and sharing of comments and suggestions on the case studies.
Eleven participants composed of facilitators, discussants, resource persons and an ABA-ROLI representative participated in the writeshop.
